Lazarus is dead. I mean Lazarus is four days dead! That's really dead and yet Jesus comes to them and says roll that stone away and open that tomb. but if you were there if he was saying that to you what would you have done knowing that Lazarus probably stunk pretty bad by now. Ephesians 4:27 says “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity for the devil.” Have you thought about the meaning of this scripture? I’ve heard sermons about “be angry and sin not” but the speaker never said what to do with my anger. The implication is “just bury it” “pretend it doesn’t matter” or “sweep it under the rug” . The lack of instruction of what to do with your anger can be really destructive to ourselves and to those around us.
